Yale Inline Espag Window Handle Virage Securistyle

With its sleek design and durable finish the Yale Virage Inline Espag Lock Handle is suitable for right or left handed openings. The handle will automatically lock on closing, but by pressing its simple push to release button the window can be opened. For extra security the handle can be deadlocked using the supplied key.

These window handles are manufactured to industry standard measurements of 43mm centre to centre (the distance between screw centres), so you can rest assured in the knowledge that this handle will fit almost all espag and shoot-bolt systems currently available

N.B: The key provided may be stamped Securistyle instead of Yale as Yale have now purchased Securistyle. This makes no difference to the operation of the product.

What do I need to check before ordering a handle?

Handle Screw Hole Fixing Centres:

Fortunately most espag handles are made to industry standards with 43mm screw hole centres, therefore it really does not matter if you choose a style that's different to your existing handle, as long as the handle centres measure 43mm these handles will fit.

Handing:

These handles are of the inline type, therefore they will replace both left and right hand handles.

Spindle Length:

To avoid having to cut the spindle its best to check the spindle size on the handle you are replacing first. To measure the spindle length you will need to remove your existing handle, this can easily be done by turning the handle into its opening position and unscrewing the two fixing screws (these may be hidden by screw covers that will need to be removed) that retain the handle. With the handle removed measure from the base of the handle to the tip of the spindle. (Please see measuring guide.)

Spindle width:

Although almost all espag spindle widths measure 7mm square, its worth checking before ordering as some unusual 8mm variations have been known, although these are mostly on timber windows.
