Repair Door Handles

Adjustable Repair Door Handles

Can't find a handle that matches your old one? Repair handles have adjustable fixings, so one handle can fit lots of different doors.

We stock the Window Parts Flexi repair uPVC door handle pair (adjustable from 59mm to 96mm PZ, 260mm fixings) and the Yale universal replacement uPVC door handle pair (92mm PZ, adjustable fixings).

What to Measure

PZ

Measure from the centre of the spindle to the centre of the keyhole. Check it falls within the handle's range.

Screw centres

Measure between the fixing screws. Adjustable handles cover a range of screw positions; check the listing.

Backplate

Make sure the new backplate covers any old marks or holes.

Lever or pad

Check whether your door has lever handles on both sides or a pad outside.

Repair Handle Guide

When to Use a Repair Handle

Repair handles are a good fix for older doors where the original handle is no longer made, or where the PZ or screw centres are unusual.

Standard or Repair Handle?

If your measurements are standard, such as 92mm PZ with 211mm or 215mm fixings, a standard handle may look neater. See our 92 PZ handles.
