Bifold door dropping, rubbing or not folding smoothly? A worn or broken hinge between the panels can be the cause. Bifold hinges are made for each door system, so the first step is finding out which one you have.
We stock bifold door hinges for the Debar A1 and Debar V1 systems and the Clearspan Smart S1000.
Look for a name on the hinges, rollers, gearbox or frame label, such as Debar, Clearspan, ERA or Fenster.
Note which panels the hinge joins and whether it is at the top, middle or bottom.
Photograph the hinge open and closed, front and back.
If the doors have dropped, check the rollers and top guides too.
Each bifold system has its own hinge shape and fixings, and the hinges work with that system's rollers and guides. A hinge from another system is unlikely to fit.
