Door Cabin Hooks

Cabin Hooks

Door or gate keeps blowing shut? A cabin hook holds it open. The hook fixes to the door and drops into an eye on the wall or frame.

We stock the UAP brass cabin hook and eyes and a black cast iron cabin hook with a traditional design.

Choosing a Cabin Hook

Length

Measure the gap between the open door and the wall. Choose a hook long enough to reach the eye.

Finish

Brass suits most front and internal doors. Black cast iron suits traditional doors, gates and sheds.

Fixings

Check the screws suit what you are fixing into: timber, uPVC or masonry.

How to Fit a Cabin Hook

Open the door to where you want it held. Fit the hook to the door, then mark and fit the eye where the hook reaches. Check the door is held firmly.
