How to Measure Your Door Handle

How to measure your uPVC door handle - PZ centre and screw fixing centres

Measurement Tips:

  • PZ Centre: Measure from the centre of the keyhole to the centre of the handle spindle
  • Screw Centres: Measure the distance between the centres of the two fixing screws
  • Use a ruler or tape measure for accurate results
  • If you have an existing handle, measure directly from that
  • Replacing an old handle? Measure your old backplate's width and length too, and choose a new handle with a backplate the same size or larger – the old handle often leaves an outline of marks or discolouration on the uPVC, and a smaller plate won't cover it
