Seal round the window or door gone hard and stopped sealing? A flipper gasket has a flexible fin that presses against the frame when the window or door shuts. When the fin goes hard or tears, draughts get in.
We stock Reddiplex flipper gaskets by R-number (such as R6809X, R6346X and R6480) and F series profiles (F104, F130, F136, F141) per metre, bulk rolls, and a flipper gasket sample pack.
Pull out a short length of the old gasket and look at the end. The shape of the cross-section is what you need to match.
Measure the overall height and width, and the leg or foot that pushes into the groove.
Compare your piece with the product diagrams. Reddiplex profiles are listed by R-number, such as R6160.
Measure round each window or door and add a little for the corners and trimming. Most gaskets are sold per metre.
A flipper that is too small won't touch the frame and won't seal. One that is too big makes the window hard to close and lock.

Bubble gasket has a round, squashy section. Flipper gasket has a flat fin. Match the type you have.
Pull out the old gasket, clean the groove, and push the new one in without stretching it.
