Delivery What is the cut-off time for Premium Tracked Delivery?

The cut-off time is 12:00 PM. Orders placed before this time will be dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM on a Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.

Returns How do I return an item to JCP Hardware?

Please log into your account, go to the "Orders" tab, select the order, and click "Return Items?" to initiate a return. For guest orders, please return items directly to our address below and include your order ID (found on the despatch email) and delivery address to help us process the refund: Return Address: JCP Hardware, Unit 1A Barncoose Industrial Estate, Barncoose, Redruth, Cornwall, TR15 3RQ

Products Delivery What is the delivery time for ABS cylinder locks?

The delivery time for Avocet ABS keyed to code cylinders is 5 working days.

Delivery Do you ship overseas?

Currently, JCP Hardware only ships to mainland UK.

Products Ordering How can I order gasket material, and will it be delivered in one length?
+

Gaskets are sold per metre, and they will be dispatched in one continuous length where possible. Customers can adjust the quantity if they need more than one metre.

Delivery Can I get free shipping?
+

Yes, free shipping is available for orders over £10.00. The estimated delivery time for free shipping is 3-5 working days.

Returns What is the refund process if I return an item?

Once the returned item is received, JCP Hardware processes the return within 3-5 working days. It may take an additional 3 working days for the bank to process the refund, and customers will receive an email notification once the return is completed.

Returns What should I do if my item is faulty, damaged?

In such cases, you can return the item within 30 days, and JCP Hardware will cover the return delivery charge by providing a returns label.

Products Ordering How can I adjust the quantity for items sold per metre (like gaskets)?
+

You can change the quantity to reflect how many metres they need. For example, setting the quantity to "3" will provide 3 metres of gasket, delivered as one continuous piece where possible.

Delivery What is the delivery schedule for orders placed on Fridays?
+

Orders placed after 12:00 PM on a Friday will be dispatched the following Monday. Orders before the cut-off time will still be dispatched on Friday.

Ordering How can I track my order?

Once the order has been dispatched, customers will receive an email with tracking information. They can use this information to monitor the delivery status of their order.

Ordering Can I change or cancel my order after it has been placed?

Changes or cancellations can be requested by contacting sales@jcphardware.co.uk as soon as possible. However, if the order has already been dispatched, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

Payment What payment methods are accepted?

JCP Hardware accepts a range of payment methods, including major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), debit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

Returns Can I return custom-made ABS door cylinders?

Custom-made ABS door cylinders are manufactured to your individual specifications. As such:

  • They can only be returned if they are faulty, damaged during transit, or incorrectly manufactured by us.
  • They cannot be returned if incorrect measurements, key codes, or color choices were provided by you.

Delivery Information

Where Do We Deliver?

We currently deliver throughout the UK mainland. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to the Channel Islands or Southern Ireland at this time.

Please note that full length door locks and other long items are only available for UK mainland deliveries, and exclude highlands and Islands due to courier restrictions.

How Are Parcels Shipped?

  • Standard Deliveries: We primarily use Royal Mail for standard UK mainland deliveries
  • Heavier/Oversized Items: TNT or DPD may be used for larger shipments
  • Premium Tracked: Orders with expedited shipping are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24, DPD or TNT (for oversized items)
  • Same-Day Dispatch: All orders placed before 12:00 noon on a working day (Monday-Friday, excluding weekends, Bank Holidays) are shipped the same day

Missed Deliveries

If your parcel was returned to us because of a missed delivery, please contact our customer service team. We'll be happy to arrange redelivery of your order if still required.

Missing Orders

I haven't received my order - what should I do?

If your order hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us immediately. We'll trace your package and either:

  • Provide tracking information if it's still in transit
  • Arrange for a replacement if the package is lost
  • Process a refund if preferred

What if I received the wrong item?

If we have sent you the wrong item:

  1. Contact our customer service team right away
  2. We'll dispatch the correct item promptly
  3. We'll arrange for a returns label to be sent at no cost to you

What if my item arrived damaged?

For items damaged during transit:

  1. Take photos of the damaged packaging and product if possible
  2. Contact us within 30 days of delivery
  3. We'll investigate and send a replacement
  4. We'll arrange for a returns label to be sent at no cost to you

How do I return items?

For account holders:

  3. Click 'Return Items' next to the relevant order
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your return request

VAT Invoices

How can I get a VAT invoice?

VAT invoices are automatically emailed to you when your order is dispatched.

For account holders:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to 'My Account' and select 'Orders'
  3. Locate the relevant order
  4. View and print your VAT invoice

For guest orders: Email us at sales@jcphardware.co.uk with your order number to request a VAT invoice.

Do you offer custom-made Avocet ABS Cylinders?

Yes, we offer custom-made Avocet ABS cylinders. Please note that custom items:

  • Are made specifically to your requirements
