Window sash dropping or door catching on the frame? Glazing packers support the sealed unit in the frame. Packing it properly, called toe and heeling, keeps the sash or door square.
We stock JCP 100 x 28mm flat window glazing packers and JCP hardwood wedges (48 per pack). Our glazing tool kit bundles also include packers.
Choose the thickness to fill the gap between the glass unit and the frame. Mixed packs let you build up the right height.

You'll need a glazing paddle or shovel to lift the unit while you fit packers.
Packers are placed at opposite corners of the glass unit so the weight of the glass is carried back to the frame. This holds a door or sash square and stops it dropping.
Lift the unit with a glazing paddle, slide the packers in at the right points, and check the sash or door opens and closes freely before refitting the beads.
Under and round the glass unit at the points the window or door system needs. For doors and opening sashes, place them to toe and heel the unit.
