An exceptional quality heavy duty 12 Inch letter box from Avocet, the Affinity letter plate set has contoured edges designed to match with the Affinity door and window handle range.

This fabulous 12 Inch Letter box is manufactured to take full A4 size mail with an external flap that opens to 180°. Each flap is fully spring loaded and comes with a finger slot for easy opening. The Affinity contains both an external weatherseal and internal draught seal, these coupled with an internal nylon brush provides outstanding protection against weather ingress. The flap and matching frame are manufactured from high quality zinc metal to standard BS1004A.

Dimensions:

• External Dimensions: 309mm in length x 76mm in height
• Internal Dimensions: Sleeve size - 264mm x 50mm (minimum sized hole in the door that the letter box will fit.)
• Distance between screw hole centres: 270mm
• Fits door from 38mm to 70mm thick

Measuring Guide:

First remove your letterbox by lifting the flaps and unscrewing the fixing screws or bolts. Once the letter box is removed measure the exact width and height of the aperture (hole) and check the the sizes against the diagram below. Measure the door mid rail - panel thickness to determine the letter box thickness needed (i.e. 20/40mm or 40/80mm). You may well find there are a few millimetres difference to your existing letter box, the door mid-rail or panel aperture can easily be trimmed using a hacksaw or similar.
