12 Inch Fab & Fix Architectural Heavy Duty Premium Quality Sprung Letter Box

This stylish and classic fully colour matched metal letterplate, boasts optimal quality and durability. Its anti-snap flap opens to 180 degrees with a fully sprung return giving clear access for A4 post. It is fully weatherproof (stopping water ingress) and acoustically insulated which is especially handy when you live next to a busy road.

Availible in Chrome and Graphite finishes.

Measuring Guide:

First remove your letterbox by lifting the flaps and unscrewing the fixing screws or bolts. Once the letter box is removed measure the exact width and height of the aperture (hole) and check the sizes against the diagram below. Measure the door mid rail - panel thickness to determine the letter box thickness needed (i.e. 20/40mm or 40/80mm). You may well find there are a few millimeters difference to your existing letter box, the door mid-rail or panel aperture can easily be trimmed using a hacksaw or similar.

• Internal Dimensions: Hole Size- 278mm x 60mm (minimum sized hole in the door that the letter box will fit.)

Maintenance

For continued protection of the quality finish and appearance, Fab&Fix advise routine cleaning of all our external hardware. Moving parts should also be lightly lubricated at least twice a year. This procedure is particularly essential if products are used within a 25-mile radius of coastal areas or close proximity to building sites or large industrial areas, where more frequent cleaning may be required to prevent the accumulation of corrosive contaminants.
