Yale Welseal 10 Inch Letter Box
The Welseal 10 Inch letterplate has radiused edges to the ABS frame to soften the appearance of this high performance letterplate. With an adjustable telescopic sleeve and extruded aluminium spring loaded flaps designed to open to 140°, this stylish letterplate is the perfect option for any PVCu door.

N.B: Two screw fixings are included. Important: Please check the screws are suitable for your application as they will not suit all door thicknesses. THIS MUST BE DONE BEFORE INSTALLATION. There are 8 alternative screw ports which can be used with 25mm screws.

Measuring Guide:
First remove your letterbox by lifting the flaps and unscrewing the fixing screws or bolts. Once the letter box is removed measure the exact width and height of the aperture (hole) and check the the sizes against the diagram below. Measure the door mid rail - panel thickness to determine the letter box thickness needed (i.e. 20/40mm or 40/80mm). You may well find there are a few millimetres difference to your existing letter box, the door mid-rail or panel aperture can easily be trimmed using a hacksaw or similar.

Excellent letterbox
We bought this to replace a broken letterbox. It’s great quality and well made. We needed a non-standard size letterbox and searched far & wide before we found this one. It was really easy to fit as a direct replacement for the broken letterbox. It was delivered really quickly. We’d definitely recommend.

Yale letter box
Quite good quality for such a low price. So glad to get a replacement that would fit the existing size in the door - have spent a long time looking for one. Looks much smarter than the old one and will be less draughty! Very pleased.

Excellent replacement product.....if you can do a direct swap!
I did as recommended, measured and re-measured and the letterbox was pretty much as expected. However, the fitting was a much longer process than I’d hoped. The old box had obviously been “adjusted” to fit and new adjustments were required! The box itself is excellent and very impressive for the money. You do need some DIY ability and screws / hacksaw blade / and common sense if you’re not lucky enough to do a simple swap....but the effort is worth it! I’m not sure that my postman is too impressed with the stronger spring.....but it no longer rattles in the wind so I’m happy!
