The Lockmaster door lock is a one piece lever operated locking system with 7 locking points (2 - Roller cams, 2 - Hooks, 2 - Anti-Lift Pin Bolts and a Deadbolt ). The lever engages and releases the multiple locking points in one upward action. When the lock has not been secured by the key, the lever will release all locking points including the latch.

What should I check before ordering a new multipoint door lock?

The most important measurements are the backset and the lock handle centres (the distance from the centre of the handle spindle to the centre of the barrel). Both measurements should be checked before ordering to ensure compatibility.

Operation:

Locking inside/outside: Lift lever engages roller cams, Hooks and Pin Bolts into plates, single turn of key locks the mechanism, lever returns to horizontal position.

Unlocking inside/outside: Single turn of key unlocks the mechanism, depress lever disengages roller cams, Hooks, Pin Bolts and retracts latch, lever returns to horizontal position.
