Mila Inline Espag Locking Window Handle ProLinea

The ProLinea Espag Handle, designed by Mila's in-house product design team, is available as an inline version and features a contemporary new rose and screw cover cap. The rose cleverly conceals the internal 90° stop which prevents the gearbox from being overstressed and, in turn, a colour matched screw cap (made of metal on the satin silver, polished chrome and polished gold handles) covers the whole of the rose. This results in a handle with minimal, modern, sight lines.

The ergonomic push button assembly provides smooth operation and meets child safety regulations. Finger grips provide optimum comfort when the handle is in use. Precision manufactured from a high performance zinc alloy, the ProLinea espag handle has been successfully tested to 500,000 cycles, more than 20 times the standard requirement - at the UKAS Accredited Mila Test Centre.

All finishes come complete with matching screw cover, screws and key. (N.B. The 55mm spindle handles are not supplied with screws.)

What do I need to check before ordering a handle?

Handle Screw Hole Fixing Centres:

Fortunately most espag handles are made to industry standards with 43mm screw hole centres, therefore it really does not matter if you choose a style that's different to your existing handle, as long as the handle centres measure 43mm these handles will fit.

Handing:

These handles are of the inline type, therefore they will replace both left and right hand handles.

Spindle Length:

To avoid having to cut the spindle its best to check the spindle size on the handle you are replacing first. To measure the spindle length you will need to remove your existing handle, this can easily be done by turning the handle into its opening position and unscrewing the two fixing screws (these may be hidden by screw covers that will need to be removed) that retain the handle. With the handle removed measure from the base of the handle to the tip of the spindle. (Please see measuring guide.)

Spindle width:

Although almost all espag spindle widths measure 7mm square, its worth checking before ordering as some unusual 8mm variations have been known, although these are mostly on timber windows.
