The Ingenious Multipoint Gearbox Door Lock Centre Case is a perfect upgrade for your door security. This innovative gearbox features a distinctive double spindle arrangement with 62mm and 92mm PZ centres, making it ideal for versatile door furniture compatibility. Crafted with precision its compact yet robust design measures 228mm in height, with screw hole spacing of 110mm (top to middle) and 108mm (middle to bottom), ensuring a secure fit to the faceplate. Choose between 35mm or 45mm backsets, keeping in mind the allowance for the faceplate thickness, for an exact fit to your multipoint locking system. Comes complete with a reversible latch for left or right-handed doors.

What should I check before ordering a new door lock gearbox case?

The most important measurements are the backset (the distance from the centre of the handle spindle to the front of the faceplate) and the lock handle centres (the distance from the centre of the handle spindle to the centre of the barrel). Both measurements should be checked before ordering to ensure compatibility.

How to reverse the latch:

Before fitting make sure the latch is facing the correct way, if not please loosen the screw in the front of the latch, gently pull the latch clear of the case, rotate it 180° to the required position and retighten the screw.
