Do I Need A Left or Right Handed Spring?

Tilt and Slide Patio doors have two types of Bogie Wheels, a lead and a slave. These are connected by a steel rod held in situ with two hex head screws positioned at opposite ends.

Looking from the inside you first need to identify the lead Bogie Wheel which is the one directly below the door handle. If this handle is on the left side of the door then you will require a left hand spring. Conversely if the handle is on the right then a right hand spring will be needed
