Yale SlotVent Trickle Vents with Noise Reduction 252mm (2500EA), 386mm (4000EA) or 467mm (5000EA) Night Slot Ventilation Facility UPVC & Timber Windows
Designed and developed in the UK, Yale’s Branded SlotVent is Document F compliant and allows an appropriate amount of air to pass through the window, helping to remove stale air and reduce condensation and mould. The vent also enables people in cities or living near busy roads to benefit from ventilation without having to open their windows.
The range includes noise reduction trickle vents with 2500, 4000 or 5000 equivalent areas (EA), the measure of aerodynamic performance of the ventilator and the measurement specified in building regulations.
Yale SlotVent is supplied with pre-fitted clips for easy installation with optional screw holes to fit optimal 13mm slot. Internal vent: The vent can be tilted to 30°, 60° or 90° degrees according to ventilation requirements. This vent includes a foam gasket for noise and draft reduction; this gasket reduces air leakage by at least 40% which in turn lowers noise pollution as well.
The Yale SlotVent has been designed and tested to comply with the building regulations England and Wales requirement F- Means of Ventilation and the Scottish building regulations October 2011 Standard 3.14
*Please note the Black Brown vent matches the RAL colour RAL 8022 and is suitable for Rosewood and Mahogany windows and doors (this is a very dark black/brown colour and will NOT match Irish Oak (RAL 8003) or Tan (RAL 1011).

Fitting guide:
Please refer to the image in the gallery for routing detail and installation guide. Please note that the SlotVents provided are clip fit and have optional screw ports - a screw pack is included for this purpose.
Cleaning & maintenance:
Wipe clean with a damp cloth a couple of times a year. Inspect the weather/fly screen and lightly remove dust and detritus with a soft clean brush.
