Many windows and doors are fitted with a wedge gasket to weather seal the opening sash against the frame. The R9227 wedge E Type gasket is one of the most popular seals of this design.

Fitting new gaskets can solve many problems, draughty and leaking windows are one of the many symptoms of a failing gasket. Over the years many gaskets will lose their flexibility, start to shrink and even disintegrate.

Please note: The gasket will be sent as one continuous length.
