The JCP High Security Glazing Tape DSX is compatible with UPVC, Timber and Aluminium Windows. It will replace the original security tape and comes as a 20 metre roll, it is 15mm wide and 4mm thick (compressible). It is also suited to bonding difficult and dissimilar surfaces, including metals, wood, UPVC, and many plastics. Its foam construction provides excellent conformability, making it ideal for rough, uneven, and structured surfaces. Additionally, the foam offers superior sealing, dampening, and vibration absorption capabilities, ensuring that bonded joints remain permanently secure even in critical applications. This versatile and high-performance adhesive tape enhances window security, offering a reliable and durable solution for any home improvement project.

Application:
To apply High Security Glazing Tape, first ensure that the surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any dust or grease. Measure and cut the tape to the required length, then carefully align it with the edge of the glazing unit or frame. Press the tape firmly into place, ensuring even adhesion by applying consistent pressure along the entire length. Remove the protective backing from the tape and carefully position the glazing unit onto the frame, pressing firmly to secure the bond. It is advisable to work methodically to avoid any air bubbles or misalignment.
