These are genuine GU Lift Lever replacement gearboxes to suit new style GU door locks. If you're having problems with your door lock the gearbox is almost always the cause of the problem.

What should I check before ordering a new door lock gearbox case?

The most important measurements are the backset and the lock handle centres (the distance from the centre of the handle spindle to the centre of the barrel). Both measurements should be checked before ordering to ensure compatibility.

How to reverse the latch:

Before fitting make sure the latch is facing the correct way, if not it can be easily reversed by applying a slight pulling force and rotating it 180° to the required position.
