Fuhr 856R Gearbox for Multipoint Door Lock UPVC French Door

The Fuhr 856R Master French Door centre section lock comes with 3 locking points (2 - roller cams and a Deadbolt with 20mm throw) and is designed for use with shoot bolt extensions that lock into the top and bottom of the frame. When the handle lever is operated the roller cams move into the locked position and the top and bottom shoot bolts engage into the outer frame. Only when all locking points are fully engaged can the key be operated to secure the door. When the lock has not been secured by the key, the lever will release the roller cams and shoot bolt locking points.

FUHR locks are smooth and light in operation - the patented dual action mechanism™ subject components to 50% less stress than conventional locks. In normal use the one piece lock will continue to operate smoothly for at least 200,000 cycles.

Locking Points:

Lock can be extended with shoot bolt extensions. These are available to purchase separately in our shop.

Operation:

Locking inside/outside: Lift lever engages top and bottom shoot bolts and roller cams, single turn of key locks the mechanism, lever returns to horizontal position.

Unlocking inside/outside: Single turn of key unlocks the mechanism, depress lever disengages the roller cams and top and bottom shoot bolts, lever returns to horizontal position.
