Thor 710 Nylon Faced Glazing Hammer is the bead hammer most window fitters carry. The nylon faces absorb the blow instead of passing it into the surface like a steel hammer, so you can seat clip-in glazing beads on uPVC, composite and aluminium frames with a clean, unmarked finish. It suits glaziers, window installers and anyone re-beading their own double glazing.

The head is chrome-plated zinc alloy with two white 32mm nylon faces that screw in by hand. When a face wears, you unscrew it and fit a new one, so the hammer stays in service for years. It also does general assembly, furniture, shopfitting and partitioning work where a non-marring strike is needed.
