Replacement gearbox (gearbox only) for Saracen Shootbolt locks. The gearbox works with bi-directional Twist Fit Rods to secure the window to the outer frame by locating into profile related keeps.

How do I know which backset I need?

The Saracen twist fit gearbox lock comes in two backset variations, 20mm and 22mm. To determine the backset you need select your choice of size from the drop down menu above to compare the relevant photo to your existing lock. The 22mm backset gearbox can easily be identified by the small projecting lug on either side of the gearbox.

How do I check the deadbolt throw size?

The deadbolt throw is stamped on the square deadbolt face (i.e. 115 = 11.5mm & 095 = 9.5mm). Standard measurements of 43mm between screw hole centres, so you can rest assured in the knowledge that this gearbox will fit almost all espag type window handles.
