The Laird Saracen / Aubi FM face fit replacement gearbox provides a multi-point locking solution for PVC-U windows. The gear box works with bi-directional bolts to secure the window to the outer frame locating into profile keeps

- Available with 9.5mm or 11.5mm latch and 20mm or 22mm backsets
- Corrosion resistance: Meets the Requirements of BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 3
- Operation: Tested in excess of 30,000 cycles
- Standard measurements of 43mm centre to centre
- Meets the requirements of BS 7950

How do I know which gearbox I need?
The Saracen/Aubi FM gearbox lock comes in two variations, Straight or Cranked faceplate. To determine the correct gearbox first remove the gearbox from your window then inspect the tooth acceptor plates located on either side of the gearbox, the Cranked faceplate will have the stamp code 05058, the Straight faceplate will be stamped 05060. Next check the deadbolt throw size - The deadbolt throw is stamped on the square deadbolt face (i.e. 115 = 11.5mm & 095 = 9.5mm). By identifying the correct gearbox and deadbolt throw, you will automatically have the correct backset.
