Maco Shootbolt Bar Gearbox Rod Extensions Upvc Windows For Mk1 Maco Gearbox (Rod Only)
These Maco shootbolt bars are for use with the Mk1 gearbox. Easy to fit adjustable bars, available in 4 sizes suitable for all gearbox backsets. Mushroom cams positioned at the bar ends facilitate a smooth gliding action pulling in larger vents to ensure a secure and effective weatherseal to the window. Rods are sold singly, a pair is required for every centre gearbox.
The Maco MK1 Shootbolt Gearbox Lock (compatible with these rods) and Self Drilling Hardware Screws, 3.9mm x 25mm (countersunk head) are also available in our shop.

How do I know what size rod I need?
Carefully measure the size of the window sash width or height in mm. Select the bar size from the list below that corresponds with your measurement. (For where to measure please see the image in the gallery.)
- Size 1 - GR0 - this will fit sash widths or heights from 320mm to 400mm
- Size 2 - GR1 - this will fit sash widths or heights from 401mm to 800mm
- Size 3 - GR2 - this will fit sash widths or heights from 801mm to 1100mm
- Size 4 - GR3 - this will fit sash widths or heights from 1101mm to 1400mm
