Exitex Intumescent Strip 5.2m Fire and Smoke Self Adhesive Door Seal

The Exitex 5.2m Intumescent Strip is ideal for easily adding further protection to fire doors. Just fit this strip into your fire doors rebate, and when subject to heat, it expands making a flame tight seal for 30 minutes (Tested to BS 476: Part 22). No routing of your door or frame is needed with its easy self adhesive fixing method. Fire door stickers and alcohol wipe are included in the pack.

2 x Fire Door Sticker

1 x Alcohol Cleaning Wipe

Fitting Instructions

1. Clean surfaces with alcohol wipe supplied to ensure they are free from dust and grease.
2. Remove backing tape and position with brush against the door stop.
3. Apply to both sides over hinges and latch plate.
4. With a sharp knife cut around the latch plate allowing the door to engage.
5. Apply to top of door frame cutting in corners ensuring a tight fit.
6. For best results allow the adhesive to cure overnight.
7. Apply fire door stickers enclosed.
