5 x HA6 RTV Marine Silicone Sealant Adhesive Aquarium Safe Fish Salt Water Tank
HA6 Marine Silicone is a high quality, high modulus, non-shrinking, marine grade silicone sealant and adhesive - ideal for home aquariums, fish tanks, terraria and vivaria. Perfect for professional use in engineering applications such as in-situ gaskets and seals for pumps and pipe work. This RTV adhesive and sealant is unaffected by UV, ozone, salt water immersion and extreme temperatures.
HA6 is a great all rounder it is ideal for use on glass, ceramics, anodised aluminium, primed metals, timber and many plastics. It can also be used as a dust and weatherproofing seal for cabinets in dirty environments and external applications.
HA6 High Modulus Marine Sealant is available in White, Black, Brown, Grey or Clear. Please note that the pack will contain the same colour as selected in the dropdown, we are unable to mix packs of differing colours.

Preparation and Application:
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease, oil or any other contaminants that may hinder adhesion. Prime porous surfaces and metals other than anodised aluminium or stainless steel for optimum adhesion
Apply using a standard sealant gun with the nozzle cut at an angle of 45°, and to an opening slightly larger than the joint to be sealed. For sealing and bedding apply in the normal fashion and tool to a smooth finish one or two minutes after gunning. As an adhesive bring the two surfaces together before skinning commences and do not stress the joint before the silicone has developed strength. As a gasket apply to one surface and if the joint is to be broken allow a strong skin to develop before compressing for permanent gaskets the joint can be sealed immediately. Clean away any excess with white spirit.

Limitations:
Not suitable for use on bitumen, asphalt, natural stone or unprimed metals.
Not suitable for use as a mirror adhesive.
Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C or above 30°c.
Storage:
Cool dry conditions between 5°C and 25°C; 24 months from manufacturing date.
