Fitting Instructions

Measure and Trim (if needed): Measure the width of your door and, if necessary, cut the aluminium strip to the correct length using a hacksaw. Ensure the brush strip will cover the gap fully.
Position the Strip: Hold the draught excluder against the bottom of the door, ensuring the brush covers the gap but does not drag on the floor. Ideally, the brush should just touch the threshold or floor.
Mark and Drill: Use a pencil to mark where the pre-drilled holes line up on the door. If your door material requires it, drill small pilot holes at these marks to make it easier to insert screws.
Fix the Strip: Using the supplied plated screws, attach the draught excluder securely to the door. Tighten the screws evenly to keep the strip aligned.
Test the Fit: Open and close the door to ensure smooth movement and that the brush maintains contact with the threshold, providing an effective seal.

How do I return Items?

If you need to return an item please log into your account and click on the orders tab. Locate the order you wish to return and on the right click on 'Return Items?' You will then be taken to the returns tab; on the right hand side enter the quantity you wish to return; then on the left below the item, select the return reason and then the return action (whether you would like a replacement or a refund). If a replacement is not available, we will issue you a refund. There is a comments box to the right if you need to enter any more details.

Once you are happy that all the details have been correctly entered then click on the 'Submit Return Request' button. You will then be sent a return request email from JCP Hardware with instructions.
