The Maco MK2 Shootbolt Espagnolette Gearbox is a versatile and secure solution for side or top hung uPVC window applications. Designed for effortless integration, it works seamlessly with adjustable extension bars such as the Maco Shootbolt Bar and Rod Extensions for MK2 Maco Gearbox (Non-Croppable). This gearbox is compatible with all standard espag handles with a 43mm fixing centre and a 7mm square spindle, ensuring it fits most uPVC windows effortlessly. With a face-fixed design, it comes with a 20mm or 22mm backset and two 7.7mm high cams, giving you peace of mind by providing extra locking points to bolster window security.

Meeting high industry standards, this gearbox is built to last, conforming to BS644, BS4873, and BS7412:2002 for corrosion resistance, and tested in line with BS EN 1670:1998, ensuring durability even in harsh conditions. Its precision engineering ensures compliance with BS7950, offering enhanced security for your home. For a complete window fitting solution, we also offer Maco Shootbolt Bar Rod Extensions, and 3.9 x 25mm Self Drilling UPVC Window Screws available in our shop to make installation straightforward. (Please note: Screw fixings are not included with the gearbox).

Shop with absolute confidence knowing that if you are not satisfied for any reason we will refund the full purchase price providing you return the item within 30 days and in the same condition as when dispatched. Except for those cases where an item proves to be faulty, damaged on delivery or incorrectly described, return delivery charges and postage expenses are not refunded.

How do I return Items?

If you need to return an item please log into your account and click on the orders tab. Locate the order you wish to return and on the right click on 'Return Items?' You will then be taken to the returns tab; on the right hand side enter the quantity you wish to return; then on the left below the item, select the return reason and then the return action (whether you would like a replacement or a refund). If a replacement is not available, we will issue you a refund. There is a comments box to the right if you need to enter any more details.

Once you are happy that all the details have been correctly entered then click on the 'Submit Return Request' button. You will then be sent a return request email from JCP Hardware with instructions.
