12" Inch Letter Box Plate Set Stainless Steel Nanocoast 40/80 UPVC Double Glazing Wooden Doors UAP

A real stunner this all metal Stainless Steel letter box is particularly suitable for those that live in coastal areas or areas of high pollution due to its superior corrosion resistant finish which is guaranteed to resist corrosion for 20 years in inland areas and even 10 years in coastal and high pollution areas. The complete inner and outer casing and flap is crafted in stainless steel for unbeatable strength, you really won't be disappointed in its appearance or performance.

Suitable for doors up to 80mm thick the box can be easily cut down to fit UPVC doors with widths less than 40mm.

Measuring Guide:

First remove your letterbox by lifting the flaps and unscrewing the fixing screws or bolts. Once the letter box is removed measure the exact width and height of the aperture (hole) and check the the sizes against the size chart. Measure the door mid rail - panel thickness to determine the letter box thickness needed (i.e. 20/40mm or 40/80mm). You may well find there are a few millimetres difference to your existing letter box, the door mid-rail or panel aperture can easily be trimmed using a hacksaw or similar.

12 inch Stainless Steel letterbox

Purchased this ltem to replace a second chrome plated letterbox which had started to become pitted. I live on a main road and feel that traffic pollution and acid rain have much to do with their deterioration. Hoping this stainless version will manage to retain its appearance. It has only been fitted for a few week and looks very attractive. Delivery was excellent and arrived earlier than I expected. The only reason ì did not give the product 5 stars was due to the fact that the fitting screws are accessible from the outside, admittedly under the flap. I am sure it could be designed to fit from the inside.
